Leo by Leonisa, men’s underwear that goes the extra mile (men’s underwear and shapewear)
The Leonisa adventure began in 1956 in Antioquia, in North-western Colombia, when Joaquin Eduardo Urrea persuaded his three brothers to join him in designing lingerie that was capable of flattering women’s curves on a daily basis. Success soon followed and by the 1980s, the brand decided to expand its range to offer men’s underwear, adopting the name Leo by Leonisa. As is the case for women’s lingerie, the new brand produces the vast majority of fabrics used in the company’s 44 factories. This enables it to launch cutting-edge innovations and unique underwear, created using exclusive fabrics, such as PowerSlim™ (a super shaping and breathable stretch fabric thanks to hexagonal threads) and DuraFit™ (ultra-light, breathable and antibacterial). These are used to produce tops, stomach shapers and high-waist boxers which make men look up to two sizes slimmer. Leo by Leonisa also offers ultra-breathable briefs and trunks, in various lengths, for cool, fresh comfort. Since 2010, the brand has applied its expertise in both shaping and cooling technology to a range of sports-focused garments to satisfy the requirements of athletes.
