It all began in 1956 designing lingerie that was capable of enhancing women’s beauty on a daily basis. Something that was unavailable in the country at that time. Soon after they began, they created the new “Diamond Point Bra”, which went on to position the brand as a leader throughout Latin America. Over the years, Leonisa gradually developed an entire range of intimates for women, including shapewear, swimwear . In the 1980s, it also began creating products for men (under the LeoFit name). The brand’s strength lies in its innovation capacity: in addition to its collections, 90% of fabrics are produced in-house, by the company’s 44 factories. A strategy that allows it to remain at the cutting edge of innovation and launch original underwear designs, created using exclusive fabrics such as PowerSlim™ (stretch fabric with a hexagonal thread pattern for super shaping and breathability), SkinFuse™ (seamless compression for discrete underwear that’s invisible under clothing), DuraFit™ (extremely light, breathable and antibacterial) and SmartLace™ (a comfortable and ultra-flat lace).
