The underargument believes embracing our individuality is key to fulfilling our purpose. The brand creates wearable affirmations by marrying content and everyday luxury lingerie in collections that remind their wearers to “argue against the norm” and empowers them to embrace all aspects of their identity. Launched in 2018 with its first collection “For awesome // Against perfect”, the brand set the tone for a new way to build empowerement with no retouch, no makeup campaigns featuring women casted for the stories they have to share, not their physical traits. The underargument principally sources materials in France, Italy and Switzerland and produces in Madagascar with a factory that invests in the development and education of the local community.
