HANRO bets on understated luxury and high quality

Since its creation by Albert Handschin and Carl Ronus in Switzerland in 1884, HANRO has become a high end international brand and leader in the underwear, nightwear and loungewear sectors. The company is synonymous with understated luxury, of superior quality and timeless style. Premium loungewear is second nature for the company which has been in the industry for several years. Over the years, HANRO’s unique creations have gone from being high quality and long lasting pieces which inspire elegance, towards more dressed up items without losing the comfortable aspect for which they are world famous. The brand, since acquired by an Austrian group, is banking on the desire to look chic when going out “after spending long periods at home and away from public life” said managing director of product and design Christiane Braun. On the agenda is seductive underwear, elegant nightwear and glamorous indoorwear made from sumptuous fabrics.
