THROUGH PINTEREST OR INSTAGRAM, NEW MUSES USE NEW COLORFUL PALETTES TO CELEBRATE BEAUTY AND LIFE.
A wind of good vibes and optimism breathes on the fashion planet!
A new language of colour has been established…
A plethora of new make up brands are appearing. Daring and full of life, they celebrate good vibes on a daily basis by enhancing eyelids, lips or nails in electric colours or pastel shades. Sugarpills and its it-products with intense pigments are splashing fashionistas around the world with Buttercupcake (yellow) or Flamepoint (orange), not much different from Holi, the festival of colour. Zoeva cosmetics, inspired by nature and its leaves which fade from luxurious green to spellbinding shades of yellow, orange, red and purple, present a palette which will send you on a journey through the heart of the colourful seasons.
Women unveil their true selves and have fun with their make up and their lingerie to express their personality and their moods. They play with underwear and outerwear, oversized eyelashes, cut-crease eyeliner and voluminous, outgoing lips.
The world of beauty has become a source of inspiration for lingerie with new colour treatment in “make up” tones: contrasts of nude with flashy, intense block colours (Dora Larsen, Undress Code) and powdered or smoky effects (Corporelle, Vanity Fair, Cadolle, Premier Artisan de Beauté, Kent, Skiny, Hanro). Lingerie is breaking the classic codes of black and white, flesh-coloured or grey, to become more vibrant and colourful: lilac, petroleum green, creamy shades, ruby red and violet plum tones (Cosabella, DNUD, Empreinte, Lisca, Huit, Opaak, Velvet Sock’s, Wacoal, Chantelle…), neo-cosmetic colour schemes: terracotta blush, taupe, nude and ivory (Lou, Clara, Nubian Skin) and pastel shades (Epure, Aubade, Hanky Panty). Lingerie reveals itself in a rainbow of colours under an oversize top which leaves a small detail or embroidery peeking out (Maison Lejaby) as a vector of pleasure and emotion.
