Seamless Basic has gone from humble beginnings to becoming a dominant player in the world of durable fashion.
Trine Weber Carlsen believes in a simple future: a future where people buy less with respect for the sources. The founder of Seamless Basic has taken the company from humble beginnings in 2018 to becoming a dominant player in the world of durable fashion.
Living up to the name, Seamless Basic offers exclusive essentials, from basics like the Angelina legging in merino wool to delicate inner layers made in pure recycled silk like the Alma blouse; simple but engaging with double stitched hems and a soft, pointelle silk texture.
Seamless Basic is based on a simple one-size concept, which the company says has rethought the basics around comfort and fitting. Fabrics like merino wool and mulberry silk have been carefully selected to create a difference for the wearer and the planet too.
Trine Weber Carlsen took the company to new heights in 2021, when she appeared on Løvens Hule (Dragons’ Den) to promote Seamless Basic. Since then, products have been stocked in 70 German and Japanese stores.
