Interfilière Paris and Jos Berry reveal new raw material trends for Summer 2026

Carpe Diem, says Jos Berry, unveiling the motto for Spring-Summer 2026 at the latest Interfilière Paris edition, in association with color bank Coloro. Optimism is in the air, filled with good vibes and with a will to celebrate, as a counter challenge to the many uncertainties of the world. The mantra made its way up to the world of lingerie, a key element of our daily looks that is now synonym with our many identities. Lingerie that feels warm and intimate, makes us feel good and satisfies our need for assertive colors that radiate through joy and affirmation.

A new awakening

This call for optimism is reflected in a range of soft, luminous colors, different shades of blue that illustrate a need to connect with nature – physically and through textile. Transparency and brightness are also in order, worn in layered surfaces that we can peel to reveal ourselves.

Values of simplicity are embodied in cherished sustainable fabrics such as cotton and silk, and reflected in the come-back of pieces that remind us of other times. The camisole is having a momentum and acts as a comforting and familiar base to face the arrival of new technologies, which, in their own ways, also influence our desires and our needs : tracking our lack of sleep, curling up in nightwear made of sensorial fabrics such as micromodal or spandex, that can be worn night and day.

A new found optimism

A burst of colors enlightens the season, guided by solar yellows, cheeky pinks and jolly greens. From catwalks and design studios to lingerie and home wear, colors are everywhere, associated with the power and comfort of stretchy fabrics that boost our agility : recycled nylons and organic faux furs. At Tianhai and Dowen, romantic visions of softness take us back to our base : the warmth of a home sweet home, the strength of family bonds.

Since the tremendous success of the latest Maison Margiela couture show, we’re all about craftmanship and handwork. The refined technicity of Lise Charmel’s laces and the ruffles of Rya Collection evoke a new romanticism that draws into the savoir-faire of the past to unveil bold pieces of skillful gestures.

A renewed energy

As the day goes by colors become increasingly bright, paired with energizing and sporty fits. Savvy geometrics and pop associations are key to an easy sportswear that mixes technicity with technology, revealing surprising mix-and-matches : sports and folk, lace and animals, deep browns and cosmical references.

Crochet is also making a come-back, infused with hand gesture and skillful technologies. An almost futuristic echo of a cherished – and definitely fashionable – nature, à la Dries Van Noten, paired with textures and embroideries. Velvet is declined in various ways, blending with technical yarns and with the natural movements of linen and silk.

Nocturnal visions

The energy of the day gives way to the transcendental beauty of the night, surrounded with touches of mysticism. Deep and warm purples, sprays of gold, weaving techniques that enhance the texture of dazzling colors.

Berry-tinted pieces begin a new journey in a contemporary fashion that plays with ornaments, cutting and flocking, mixes of silk and satin and surreal accessories. A daring innovation that takes the colors of the past into the heart of today’s emotions, carrying a whole new range of secrets to unveil.
